Admin Issues: Windows 7

So my friend just got me a new laptop for my 21st birthday (sweet, I know.)
Anywho, up to this point, I've had absolutely NO issues with Windows 7, I LOVE it. But now we have an issue.
He also gave me this game called 'The Witcher'
It's a pretty sweet game, so I decided to install it. Well, I got through the entire procedure, seeming to have no issues, as I shouldn't, because I've installed other games and programs as well. THIS time however, as I go to launch the game, a pop-up
appears. The window title is 'TAGES drivers' and I get a message saying something to the effect of 'These drivers need to be installed (with an admin account) do you wish to install' So I click yes, because I wanna play this game, and mine is the ONLY account
on this computer. And yes, I checked and made sure I was an admin too. Anywho, I click yes, thinking 'Oh joy, Witcher time!!!' NOPE! I get a NEW message, same window title, saying 'Unable to proceed (error 1275)'
Then I click okay, and get a NEw window saying I have to log on as an admin before I can install said drivers.
Uhmmm, HELLO 7, I AM an admin, what gives?
I've tried turning the UAC notifications all the way off, I've switched off the firewalls (for the moment) and it seems nothing is working. Any ideas folks?

So I got it working.
apparently, Windows 7 sees the files that came from the disc (in more than one case, according to the internet) as corrupt. So I had to go manually download the drivers. So it really had nothing to do with admin issues. Thanks
for your time, you might want to fix 7 to where it gives the correct errors.

Windows 7 is working the way it is supposed to.
In the case of this game, the 'Tages drivers' are a copy protection component for the games software.
Anytime you deal with copy protection, especially on gaming software, you can expect to see ambiguous results.

Boot in Safe Mode:

Open Run command as previously described
Type MSConfig
Click on Boot tab
Tick Safe boot in Boot option
Select Network
Click Apply and OK
Reboot your system

Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.
