Does anyone have a solution for transferring XP Palm OS contacts information to a new computer with MS Windows &?

I recently transferred my files/folders from my xp computer to the new Microsoft 7 system using the Easy Transfer tool. The Palm OS where I stored all my contact information no longer runs on MS7. I down loaded new Palm software, but it doesn't recognize
(or can't find) the contact information that the XP was using. I have already tried using the Fix Problems software on the MS 7 control panel but not success. Unfortunately, my old XP computer has crashed so I can't go back and just copy the contact files
to a usb drive. If I re-run the "Easy Transer Program" that I originally used to transfer the files/folders from the old to the new computer a second time on the new computer, will that wreak havoc on the new computer (MS7)? It appears that MS7 stores the
Palm OS Contact data in a different location with possibly a different file type that Palm OS doesn't recognize.

If anyone can help me solve this problem I would be most appreciative as I have more than 100 contacts/passwords stored in that file and (stupid me) no backup.

Can you configure Windows Easy Transfer to just transfer the saved settings and file(s) relative to Palm? Do you have to run it a second time, where did the files relative to Palm, end up the first time you ran it? Can you take those files to another XP
machine and work from there (on a solution) to get a list of your contacts?

Is the hard drive from your XP readable if transplanted into another machine?

Open Action Center by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, and then, under System and Security, clicking Review your computer's status.
