Connecting to a network. Access is denied.

Recently i had to make a new account because my last one became
corrupted , so i copied all my files etc.


now when i look in the bottom right corner (on the new NOT CORRUPTED account) where the "network icon" is, there is an X instead of a Globe and when i click it, it says connection status: unknown access is denied.
But I'm on the internet so
that means I'm connected, right?

I'm not sure if this is linked to that problem but also, when i go into control panel and into user accounts and click on add or remove accounts a white window pops up and closes really fast.

I have two accounts on this computer, the
corrupted one and my new one.
I want to delete the
old one, but it wont let me go into add or remove user accounts on the
new account.
Both accounts are administrative so i don't see how that would be a problem, but On the
corrupted account it lets me go into add or remove user accounts and the network is fine.
However i cannot delete the
account while I'm on the
account .
Help please?

I have already tried remaking my new account administrative.
I'm using windows vista home basic

Oh, this sounds like it could be of some help.
I clicked on iTunes and it had a message pop up saying
"the windows installer service could not be accessed.
This can occur if the windows installer is not correctly installed.
Contact your support personnel for assistance."

so i think that might have to do with a lot.

The files that are listed in the above post appear to be HP files for printer software.
Do you have a networked HP printer?

1.
Let try to fix the Windows Installer.
Here's an article about the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility:

You might try to uninstall the iTunes software temporarily while we troubleshoot the other issues.
3.
you might also uninstall the HP printer software and check the HP website for an updated package of software and/or drivers.

After those three steps, I suggest rerunning the System File Checker.

In this method we will try to Boot in Safe mode with Networking and see if the error still persists.

• Search "MSCONFIG" and Open.
• Click on Boot Tab
• Tick Safe Boot in Boot Option
• Select Network.
• Click Apply and OK.
• Reboot your System.
