Can not connect printer using network from windows 7 to windows XP

I couldn't connect my notebook (using windows 7) to HP LJ1010 printer at printer server (using windows XP).
Even i already install the driver into my notebook.
I'm using HP LJ1010 printer driver for windows vista because i couldn't find HP LJ1010 printer
driver for windows 7.

Ø Have you installed the printer on your notebook as a network printer?
 
Step 1
 
Firstly share the printer on your Windows XP computer.
Access the link below and follow the steps to share the printer in Windows XP computer.http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/maintain/printers.mspx
 
Check if you can access the Windows XP computer from the Windows 7 laptop and access shared files and folders.
 
Later on the Windows 7 computer install the printer as a Network printer and check if it helps.

Windows Error Reporting - To Fix Can not connect printer using network from windows 7 to windows XP

1. Go to Start button.
2. Open Control Panel.
3. Go to Windows Error Reporting.
4. Click on System and Maintenance, then click Problem Reports and Solutions.
5. Next, click Change Settings located on the left side panel of the Problem Reports and Solutions window.
6. Select an option to configure how you want Windows to look for a solution to your problems. You may allow Windows to do it automatically or ask you every time to check if problem occurs.
7. Next, click the Advanced settings link.
8. Select Off to turn off Error Reporting.
